Pharmacy First

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists. The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for UTIs (women aged 16 to 65 years), impetigo, tonsillitis, ear infection (children under 18 years), shingles, infected insect bites and sinusitis.
